In September 2019 the British Prime Minister advised Queen Elizabeth II to suspend Parliament for an unusually long period of six weeks only to be told by a panel of unelected judges that his advice was unlawful, that the Queen did not have power to do as he advised and that the purported suspension of Parliament had not taken place.
- What was going on – and how was this possible without a written constitution to refer to?

The second in a two-part talk series after ‘US Constitution’ on 9th March.
